New Spanish and German version of the free online game DOFUS

Ankama Games releases a German and Spanish version of its free downloadable online game DOFUS, as figures grow closer to 4 million players worldwide. The game client is available for free on www.dofus.com.

After a successful launch in the UK at the beginning of April, Ankama Games is proud to present the free German and Spanish version of its acclaimed MMORPG DOFUS. Even more gamers will now be able to embark on a quest to find the 6 precious Dofus eggs.

The beta test came to an end yesterday as new dedicated servers were put into place to support the arrival of thousands of players attracted by the launch of those new versions and communities.
“This launch is very important for us and we are pleased to offer Spanish and German speaking gamers a dedicated version of DOFUS at last.” comments Cedric Gerard, International Marketing Manager. “We know they have been expecting it for quite a while and we have put all our efforts during the last year to make sure the original spirit and humour of DOFUS are present in these new versions.”

Ankama hopes that many players who had not been able to play because of language restrictions will now be able to experience the game to its fullest potential, and take part to the DOFUS adventure by downloading the 120 Mb client on www.dofus.com.
